Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8/15/2026

1. Introduction

ClarityFinder ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Career Theme Assessment ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when using the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the first name, email address, and (optionally) contact number you provide, along with your assessment answers and computed theme scores. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to generate and deliver your personalized results, to improve the Service, and — where you provide consent — to communicate with you about coaching resources. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on secure managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

Assessment answers, results, and the contact details you submit are retained for 12 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8). Aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot identify you may be retained longer to improve the Service.

6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics

The Service uses strictly necessary browser storage (cookies, local storage, and session storage) to keep your session active and to save your in-progress assessment so you can resume it. We may also use privacy-conscious analytics to measure aggregate usage such as page views, completion rates, and device type. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings, though parts of the Service (including resuming a saved assessment) may then not work.

7. Third-Party Services

We may link to third-party career resources and job boards (such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and others) and use third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, and AI-assisted coaching responses. These parties have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

You may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw email consent at any time. To make a request, email support@otbcc.com with the subject line ATTN: ClarityFinder and the email address you used. We aim to respond within 30 days. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights, including the right to object to processing and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

9. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent to support@otbcc.com with ATTN: ClarityFinder.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
